The most popular time to photograph seniors is the fall and late spring. It’s not too hot, not too cold, there’s no pollen blowing through the air and the leaves are either green or turning beautiful shades of red, yellow and orange. I take on a limited amount of sessions per month as my aim is to provide the best experience, images and customer service to each of my seniors and their families. The sooner you book the better so you are assured to get a slot in the season you’re looking for. Wanting a summer or winter session? That can be done, too!

25 is the minimum amount of images included with a session. I focus on quality, not quantity and want you to have the very best images of your son or daughter.

After your session we will be looking at two to three weeks before meeting back up for your reveal and ordering appointment. Oh, if there is one thing which might slow me down it’s the movie, It’s A Wonderful Life, with Jimmy Stewart. If that movie comes on, even if it’s 11:00 at night, all bets are off. You know where you can find me for the next couple hours. Someone please pass the popcorn! (and a tissue for the ending!)

Eight years ago is when I began photographing seniors; however, I “caught the bug” about eight years before that. But that’s a lot of math to do; I’d rather focus on taking beautiful pictures. :)

The answer to that is no. I believe we should love our bodies as they are and each one of us has been created beautifully…or handsomely. I also agree with “if you weren’t born with it, it doesn’t need to be in your senior portraits”. In other words, your senior shouldn’t worry if he/she wakes up on the day of the session with a monster pimple or have a scrape. I’ll be editing those out. (If your senior has something he or she is self-conscious about, please let me know so I can be aware of that when posing.)

Something my clients appreciate about my service is the guidance I give them on what to wear. A typical session consists of two to three outfits and we will speak in depth at the planning meeting regarding what colors and styles would be the best fit for your senior. I take their style into consideration when giving recommendations and there is a lot to be said about wearing what you feel best in! Very little, if anything, needs to be purchased; your senior probably has everything needed for the session already in his or her closet!

High school seniors take up a good chunk of my schedule. I do photograph a lot of families and headshots, as well.  Add in a couple galas and Christmas parties...and my schedule continues to have some fun variety in there!

Yes, you certainly may! Your session is a reflection of who your senior is and, being a dog lover myself, I know that pets can be a big part of that! You will need to make arrangements for someone to take care of your pet once we are finished with that part of the session.

Products generally take around three weeks after the ordering appointment. I work with several professional labs and the arrival time varies depending on the lab and item ordered. After I’ve received and checked over your products to make sure they meet or exceed expectations I’ll give you a call so we can arrange a time for me to deliver your beautiful images!
